Thanks for the teamwork! You
are making it possible for Cascade Elementary to be where “Children
Experience Success”. Please mark your February calendars for these important dates and
events. February 1st is our annual Walk-A-Thon. We are still hoping to purchase an
additional mobile computer lab. February 4th from 3-6 is the first of two Parent Teacher
Conferences. The other date is
Tuesday, February 26th. February 6th is the 5th Grade Writing
Assessment. Please make sure that your
fifth graders are ready to write by encouraging them to get a good night’s
sleep the night before. Providing a
healthy breakfast that morning is also important. The week of February 11th is booked with a lot of exciting
activities! The library Book Fair and
Grandparent’s Day are scheduled this wee.
Informational letters have been sent home about both of the events. Notify your child’s teacher or call the
school if you have any questions about any events sponsored by the school. Monday, February 11th, at 6:00 is our next PTO
meeting. I realize that everyone is
busy, but we need your input and support. February 14th is the end of the fourth six weeks grading period
and report cards are issued on February 27th. Friday, February 15th is a Staff Development Day for
teachers and staff. Students do not
attend that day. Monday, February 18th is Presidents’ Day, and school is
