Roni Hensley has taught Special Ed (resource) English and Reading classes at Community High School since the fall of 2001. She has a BS degree from Middle Tennessee State University where she majored in psychology and minored in English and social welfare. After graduating cum laude from MTSU, Hensley went back to college to earn her Special Ed. Certification. She is thrilled to be a lifelong learner.
Roni Hensley is a lover of words. She enjoys reading good literature, and writing short stories and poetry. She has published some of her short stories and poetry in her book, An Evanescent Catalyst. She has also been published in two college anthologies: Dry Creek Review (Aims Community College, Greeley, Colorado) and Collage (Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tennessee). Hensley served as Art Editor of her own high school’s anthology, Shades of Blue, and as a Student Editor of Dry Creek Review. Her work has also appeared in Short Stuff Magazine, a national magazine. Hensley is currently working on her first novel.
