TCAP
TESTING:
This year the TCAP testing will be
the week of April 14-18. The
faculty, staff and students of
TESTING
CONDITIONS: In order to maintain the
state mandated testing conditions, students will turn in all cell phones to the
teacher for storage until the testing throughout the school has ended for the
day. The phones will be identified
and kept in a container by the teacher. Once
the testing process has concluded for the day, the phones will be returned to
the students. As always, students
are not allowed to use phones during the school day or to have phones turned on.
All testing will take place during the homeroom class, and all testing
will take place in the morning.
REGISTRATION
FORMS: Student registration forms
for next year will be sent home with the students on Monday, April 14.
The forms must be returned by Thursday, April 17.
These forms are very important for the proper registration of all
students at HMS. It is necessary
that the school has all of the information completed correctly on the form for
each student.
SPRING
SPORTS: The Spring Sports Season is
in full swing! You are invited
to enjoy a pleasant afternoon or evening with the Baseball, Soccer,
Softball and Tennis Teams.
REPORT
CARDS: The fifth six weeks will end
on Friday, April 11. Report Cards
will be distributed on Wednesday, April 23.
STAFF
DEVELOPMENT DAY:
On Friday, April 25, there will no school for students as teachers have a
Staff Development Day.
HMS
COLORS:
You should have already received the news before Spring Break of the
allowable colors for the Student Dress Code for 2008-2009.
The colors at Harris will be the same at
SPRING
PICTURES: Proofs for Spring Pictures
were sent home with the students last week.
All orders are due by Monday, April 14.
