Looking
for a thoughtful way to pay tribute to someone such as a student, parent, or
teacher? Are you interested in
enhancing the education of our school community?
Consider donating a book, video, magazine, newspaper subscription, or a
piece of technology to the Harris Middle School Media Center.
The process is very simple. You
may select an item of your choice that represents the person you are honoring,
or you may select from a wish list formulated by the media staff and faculty of
HMS. Once you have made your
selection, you simply make the donation. The
media staff at Harris Middle will do all the work for you:
1. A card will be
sent to that person or his/her family notifying them that a donation has been
made
in his/her honor.
2. A card will be
sent to the person/family making the donation noting what was selected if
an
item was not pre-selected.
3. A label will be placed on
the book or item stating all the donation information.
4. An announcement
will be made over Harris Live, our live student broadcast, honoring that
special
person and showcasing the item selected.
