Several
services are available to our faculty and staff. Please let us know how we
can help you in achieving the best education for our students. Some of the
areas in which we can assist you are as follows:
Providing
print and non-print materials to supplement units of teaching which are current
and in the best condition possible
Purchasing
resources for teacher use – print and non-print materials
Subscribing
to periodicals which supplement the various disciplines
Collaborating
with instructors on units of instruction which will provide opportunities where
research techniques may be introduced and implemented
Assisting
students and instructors with new technology and software
Striving
to provide a media center that is continuing to evolve into an area where the
latest technology and materials may be located
Formulating
a bibliography and gathering information for various research projects employing
a variety of mediums
Maintaining
an environment that is inviting where the staff encourages “structured”
noise where students are moving and using the many resources available
Attending
various departmental meetings when special presentations of new materials or
instruction on new technology is needed or requested
