POLICIES
CONCERNING BOOK CIRCULATION:
1.
Every student is
encouraged to check out two books from the media center.
One Accelerated Reader and one additional book for entertainment or
research.
2.
All books checked out must be returned or renewed within two
weeks of the date the book was borrowed. Two
weeks is defined as ten school days; snow days, holidays, weekends, etc., are
not included.
3.
When checking out a book, the student is responsible for stamping
the due date in the back of the book on the date due slip.
This date may also be stamped in the student’s agenda.
4.
The fee for an overdue book is .05 cents per school day that the
book is late.
5. If a book is
determined lost, the patron who checked out the book is responsible for paying
the
original cost of the item. Do
not loan or leave your books unattended.
6. Any patron who has
an outstanding library obligation will not be allowed to check out any items
until the debt is cleared.
7. Encyclopedias are
available for patrons to check out to do research.
The circulation period is for one
night
only.

OTHER
SERVICES AND POLICIES:
1.
The computer lab located in the media center is for use by a
class and not individuals. Students
using the computer lab must be accompanied by an instructor.
2.
Eight student computers are available in the main area of the
library for independent student use.
3. Students using the
media center computers must:
a.
Be prepared to pay .10 cents for a black and white copy and .25 cents for
a color copy at
the time of printing.
b.
Use the internet for academic purposes only and must have an
agenda signed by his/her instructor stating the topic to be researched.
c.
Provide a floppy disk to save any work which they wish to keep.
Patrons will not be allowed to save documents to the computer’s hard
drive.
4.
Patrons may photocopy items for academic purposes only for a fee
of .10 cents per page.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO GET YOUR AGENDA STAMPED WHEN YOU LEAVE, AND PLEASE NO GUM IN
THE LIBRARY OR COMPUTER LAB.
