🦖✨ Dino-mite Learning in Pre-K! ✨🦕

Our Pre-K classrooms have been ROARING with excitement as our little learners dove into the world of dinosaurs! 🦕💚

From reading fun and engaging dinosaur stories to creating their very own prehistoric crafts, our students have been busy exploring like real paleontologists! They made incredible “fossils,” built adorable noodle dinosaurs, and used their imaginations during adventure play to stomp, roar, and discover just like dinosaurs did long ago! 🦴🌋

Through hands-on learning, creativity, and play, our Pre-K kiddos are building important skills while having a dino-sized amount of fun! 🦖🎨📚

We are so proud of our curious learners and all the excitement they bring to the classroom each day! 💜💛 #VikingVoyage #PreKFun #DinoDiscovery

📚✨ Stitching Encouragement into Every Page! ✨📚

The Shelbyville branch of the Embroidery Guild of America (EGA) recently shared their talents in a meaningful way with handstitched bookmarks for reading interventionists to use as rewards for #students reading progress. 🧵❤️

Founded in 1958 to foster the art of needlework and related arts, EGA continues to make a positive impact in our community. EGA member and #BedfordCountySchools ESL & Instructional Support Coordinator, Kathy Reed, visited #CartwrightElementarySchool, #CommunityElementarySchool, #EakinElementarySchool, #EastSideElementarySchool and #LearningWayElementarySchool to deliver these special bookmarks, which are already inspiring students to keep turning pages and reaching new goals! 🌟

#ThankYou to the Shelbyville EGA for supporting literacy and encouraging a love of reading, one stitch at a time! 📖🪡

❤️🧸A Community Effort to Comfort Students in Need🧸❤️

Bedford County School Board Member Mr. Glenn Forsee's granddaughter, Elizabeth Foresee, has begun a “Passing on Love” initiative in memory of her dear friend Asher Sullivan. 🌟

Kaycee Sullivan, Asher’s mother, recently joined Elizabeth and Mr. Forsee at #CommunityElementarySchool to share kindness and comfort with #students. During their visit, they personally handed out stuffed animals 🧸 to students in need, brightening their day and providing comfort.

The Forsee family and the Sullivan family are also providing additional stuffed animals 🧸 to the school counselor and school social work team, ensuring students across #BedfordCountySchools continue to receive support whenever they need it most. ❤️

Asher’s Animals represent the hands and hearts of caring individuals coming together to provide comfort through stuffed animals and meaningful support for students.🤝

We are #grateful for community partners who help make a positive difference in the lives of our students. 🌟
