#HarrisMiddleSchool Baseball bested Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs 11-7 on Monday.
#HMS Baseball opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. Harris Middle School Baseball first got on the board when Tobin Hathcock singled, scoring two runs.
Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by Cole Blalock following a 7-pitch at-bat that drove in four.
Harris Middle School Baseball jumped into the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Jake Dunnavant doubled, scoring two runs, Canyon Todd singled, scoring one run, and Mason Bowman drew a walk, scoring one run.
Knox Bowman pitched three innings in relief for Harris Middle School Baseball. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run while, striking out five and walking four. Todd started the game for Harris Middle School Baseball. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and five runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking six. Colton Pigg stepped on the mound first for Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking none.
Harris Middle School Baseball tallied 13 hits in the game. Dunnavant went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Harris Middle School Baseball in hits. Bowman, Todd, and Omar Garcia each collected multiple hits for Harris Middle School Baseball. Hathcock stole three bases. Harris Middle School Baseball ran wild on the base paths, piling up six stolen bases for the game. Harris Middle School Baseball turned one double play in the game.

Over the course of the 2025-2026 school year at #HarrisMiddleSchool, students in the classroom of 7th grade Math teacher Mrs. Elrod have enjoyed a variety of fun activities in addition to learning. Fun Math review games, making Christmas ornaments during a block party the day before Christmas break, flex time before or after lunch, Career Day field trips, and more.

The #HMS Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Tullahoma by a score of 5-0 with one goal each by Atzel Fernandez, Junior Palacios, Ramiro Rodriguez, Carson Yoes, and Ian Gomez.
The #HMS JV Boys Soccer team defeated Tullahoma by a score of 4-2 with Dylan Soto scoring two goals and both Mathias Chunn and Jovoni Reyes scoring one goal each.
Up next, the HMS Boys Soccer team will attempt to #SoarAboveTheRest in the playoffs and bring the championship back to Harris Middle School!

Both teams were strong on the bump on Thursday, but Franklin Co was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-1 victory over #HarrisMiddleSchool Baseball. Chasen McMillian started the game for Harris Middle School Baseball and recorded 16 outs.
#HMS Baseball was right in it until Franklin Co doubled in the seventh inning.
An error put Harris Middle School Baseball on the board in the bottom of the fifth.
McMillian stepped on the hill first for Harris Middle School Baseball. The starter surrendered one hit and zero runs over five and one-third innings, striking out 12 and walking one. Declan Kelley started the game for Franklin Co. The hurler surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking four.
Tobin Hathcock led Harris Middle School Baseball with one hit in four at bats. Trace Cooke paced Harris Middle School Baseball with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game.
Boston Reynolds led Franklin Co with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The center fielder went 2-for-3 on the day.
