We still need all of our #HMS Friends and Family to be getting ready for the big day when testing starts.
We suggest that you get to bed on time and to get a good night's sleep. Get up on time to be ready for the day, and eat a good breakfast to start your day off right.
Be sure you are studying and reviewing for the test.
If you do these things, FANTASTIC! If you haven't been doing these things, now is a GREAT time to start.

The #HarrisMiddleSchool Varsity Softball team hosted Franklin County on Thursday, April 16.
The #HMS Eaglettes defeated the Rebels by a score of 13-12.

The #HarrisMiddleSchool Tennis team was back on the courts Thursday, April 16, and both the Eagles and Eaglettes came away with wins.
The #HMS Eagles defeated Lewisburg 9-0 with Brison Sims and Charlie Watson winning 6-0.
The #HMS Eaglettes defeated Lewisburg 8-1.

#HarrisMiddleSchool SRO, Officer Stephens, recently taught a lesson to some of our #HMS 7th grade students about alcohol and the effects of drinking.
Officer Stephens also brought some "drunk goggles" for the students to try on and walk around in. This helped the students see the impact that drinking can have on eyesight and how it could affect their ability to walk or drive.
Officer Stephens also gave the students a field sobriety test while they wore the "drunk goggles" to help them understand what those accused of being intoxicated might have to go through to prove their sobriety.
Thank you to Miss Blackburn for having Officer Stephens in her class to teach this lesson, and thank you to Officer Stephens for educating our students about the potential impacts of drinking alcohol.

Recently, 7th Grade Math Teacher, Mrs. Breedlove, discussed the upcoming Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program Testing that will be taking place at #HarrisMiddleSchool starting on Tuesday, April 21.
The #HMS students made signs saying they would be their best on the test and also made structures out of LEGO pieces to discuss not being the missing piece during testing.
