hello Bedford County parents and students it's official Bedford County Virtual School up and running my name is Meredith Gilliland and I'm the principal of Bedford County virtual school we have an incredible opportunity to build a school community that looks and feels very different from any other school in Bedford County Bedford County virtual school will serve students in grades three through eight at this time enrollment is limited to 50 students per grade level students at BC vs will learn and work from home with report of an online classroom Community Bedford County Virtual School teachers will be teaching from Cascade Middle School campus they will provide live online instruction each school day and communicate with parents and students via email phone calls and virtual conferences there some specific criteria for students to meet in order to participate and remain at bcds please visit our District's website for more information policies procedures and guidelines if being a part of the BC vs Family interest you please submit your application by July 9th this application can be found on the Bedford County Schools website now students this part is for you because we are opening a brand new school in Bedford County we get to select our School's mascot I need your help please let me know what you think our School's mascot should we will take students submissions for a b c DS mascot and you will help make Bedford County Virtual School unique be on the lookout for more information about our mascot competition I look forward to meeting Barbie CVS students and their families it's going to be a great year
