Rezoning for Cartwright Elementary School

Bedford County Schools' newest school, Cartwright Elementary School, is set to open in the fall of 2024. After hosting two Town Hall meetings to gather parent input, the school board voted at their regular monthly meeting on January 25, 2024, to approve the re-zoned area as seen on the map below.

 

One important BCS goal is to get students out of portables and into the best possible learning environment. This new elementary school is helping us reach this goal.
