School Age Care Program (S.A.C.P.)

The Bedford County School-Age Care Program (S.A.C.P.) provides quality care for children in a safe and enriching environment. This program is offered during the hours when there may be no adult supervision in the home.

WHAT IS IT?
Quality care for school age children on site at their school in a safe, fun, and enriching environment. We offer snack, homework help, different crafts and activities, and gym or playground time.

WHEN IS IT?
S.A.C.P. is a 12-month program, closing on major holidays and a five-day maintenance period at the beginning of each school year. If weather permits, we open up on inclement weather days at one site. Our hours of operation are 6 am - 6 pm.

WHO MAY ATTEND?
Any child who is currently attending a Bedford County School in grades K-8.

WHERE IS IT?
S.A.C.P. currently operates at nine Bedford County Schools. On special holidays, snow days and during the summer, S.A.C.P. consolidates to one site.
