Bedford County Schools Communications Department works to ensure all stakeholders of Bedford County have the latest information about the school district and schools. 

Bedford County Schools Communications Department utilizes a variety of channels to provide information including the district's website, superintendent's messages, multiple social media outlets, direct notifications to parents and students via Skyward, and a School News by Edlio app. The district also uses a mass notification system to communicate via phone and email.

Information communicated includes, but is not limited to, announcements, school news stories, photos and press releases, reminders, school closings, emergency alerts, and social media postings.

Bedford County Schools utilizes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep parents, students and community members engaged and informed. If you are not receiving notifications from the Bedford County School District via email or phone, please be sure all contact information is up to date in the Skyward portal. For login ID and password, please contact your child's school.
