The Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission
TNFLC is excited to announce a new season of training summits for educators this fall! TNFLC summits are designed to give you the tools to prepare your students for navigating life’s financial milestones and contribute to their long-term success. The Commission is excited to be able to offer this opportunity for free training summits to elementary and middle school educators (K-8 only) again this year at locations across the state. Understanding financial literacy concepts can truly impact your life and change your students’ futures for the better. More than 4,300 Tennessee teachers have attended these summits and have learned to incorporate the Financial Fitness for Life® financial literacy curriculum into regular classroom instruction.

The Financial Fitness for Life® curriculum is designed to be easily integrated into your existing elementary and middle school curriculum. At any TNFLC summit you choose to attend, you will learn financial education tools to help empower you and prepare your students for the future.
Plan to join the Commission for a summit near you this fall. The training is completely FREE for educators, including lunch and parking.
All educators who attend will receive:
  • Training in the nationally-recognized Financial Fitness for Life® curriculum developed by the Council for Economic Education
  • A certificate of completion that can be used for professional education credits as permitted by your respective school district
  • A special presentation by a RetireReadyTN representative and the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about your retirement plan and steps you can take toward your retirement planning
  • A free set of curriculum and materials for your classroom
  • A $50 Amazon gift card upon completion of a post-summit survey
