Bedford County Schools (BCS) has been named a 2024–2025 RTI²-A+B Change Makers Award recipient by the Tennessee Tiered Supports Center, in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Education. The award recognizes districts that have strengthened their tiered academic and behavioral support systems, creating lasting change that benefits every student.
BCS RTI Coordinator Susan Huff and Social and Emotional Learning and Mental Health Supervisor Lindsay Wiley were recognized as key contributors to the district’s success.
“Congratulations to Susan and Lindsay for their leadership in supporting every student’s success,” said Superintendent Dr. Tammy Garrett. “This award reflects our district’s commitment to strong, responsive systems that help all students thrive.”
