Literacy Success

The Tennessee Literacy Success Act requires all school districts to create a Foundational Literacy Skills Plan for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The plan addresses how schools will teach reading foundational skills to students in an effort produce proficient readers. Bedford County Schools' Foundational Literacy Skills Plan was approved on May 26, 2021, and updated on June 22, 2023, and can be found below.
