We’re partnering with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive and TODAY is your last chance to donate!

From January 20 – February 28, we’ll be collecting NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world. These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.

We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.

📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.

🏀✨ Champions on the Court! ✨🏀

Students from #CascadeMiddleSchool and #CommunityMiddleSchool brought incredible energy and determination recently to Area 13's Special Olympics basketball tournament, hosted at Motlow State Community College!

As part of #SpecialOlympics, these dedicated athletes spent weeks preparing for this exciting event by practicing dribbling, rebounding, passing, shooting and strengthening their teamwork skills.

When game day arrived, they gave it their all from start to finish. The tournament showcased not only their basketball skills but also their perseverance, sportsmanship and heart. 💪🔥

Emergency Preparedness in Action!🚨🏫

Recently school and district leaders from across the county gathered for important emergency preparedness training, led by Director of Federal Programs Chad Fletcher, focused on strengthening safety protocols and response efforts.

This training plays a key role in preparing for the March 6 Emergency Preparedness Drill️, helping our schools improve coordination, sharpen response skills and build confidence in handling emergencies. ✅

🌟 What an incredible day at the Invention Convention at MTSU! 🌟

#InventionClub students from #EastSideElementarySchool recently showcased their innovative ideas while competing with over 500 fourth and fifth graders from across Middle Tennessee at the #InventionConvention at #MTSU.

These #students also heard an inspiring message from Sam Phalen from Season 47 of Survivor, who encouraged them to never give up and to continue pursuing their dreams no matter the obstacles. 💪✨

These young innovators continue to impress with their hard work, bravery and big thinking. The future is bright! 🌍💡
