These teachers have guided their students to remarkable growth, showing the power of dedication, effective instruction and a strong commitment to literacy success. #Congratulations to these exceptional educators! Their work is helping students become confident, capable readers every day.

📚🍎✨ Future Teachers in Action! ✨ 🍎📚

Teaching As A Profession II students from #ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool, led by Melody Redd, continue their partnership with #SouthsideElementarySchool, shadowing mentor teachers three days a week to gain hands-on classroom experience.

Recently, #students helped out at the school’s Boo Run 🎃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️, showing their commitment to engaging with the school community while having fun. Experiences like this highlight why the program has been so successful—so much so that next semester, TAP I students will also visit once a week, giving even more students the chance to explore teaching as a career 📚✏️.

Before Thanksgiving break 🦃, TAP II students and FCCLA members will host Bedford Be a Teacher Day 🌟inspiring young learners to think about education as a future profession. Students will enjoy reading and creative activities, dress like their favorite teacher 👕, participate in drawing and book-making projects 📖🎨✍️ and compete for goodie bags and a class celebration 🎁🏆.

To conclude the semester, TAP II students will present lessons on teacher roles, skills and responsibilities 🎓🍎—preparing the next generation of educators. ✨
