Rising 3rd through 5th grade students at #CascadeElementarySchool's Summer Learning Camp recently took an exciting trip to the Tennessee State Museum and the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville.

During their trip, #students had the opportunity to explore Tennessee’s history and learn more about the state’s government and heritage through these important landmarks.

At #EakinElementarySchool's Summer Learning Camp, rising 1st graders in Kristin Wexler’s class have been exploring the fascinating world of ocean animals as they build their background knowledge and discover life beneath the waves.🌊

Angie Jackson from Arty All the Time recently visited students at #CascadeMiddleSchool's Summer Learning Camp and showed them how to use bold, vibrant, art deco inspired techniques to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary!

#Students channeled their creativity by designing artwork featuring the Statue of Liberty, stars, eagles, flags and the number 250, bringing patriotic symbols to life through color, design and imagination.

Through hands on creative exploration, students are building critical thinking skills while connecting art, history and self expression in meaningful ways.
