🌿✨ Adventure + History = The Perfect Field Trip! ✨🌿

Our amazing 5th grade students from #EastSideElementarySchool recently stepped back in time during an unforgettable field trip to Old Stone Fort State Park in Manchester! 🏞️

#Students explored the fascinating Native American mounds, discovered artifacts from long ago and learned how people once lived in this very area. They also enjoyed a scenic hike to the beautiful falls and even got hands-on experience practicing spear throwing just like early hunters! 🏹

It was a day full of learning, exploring and making memories in the great outdoors. We’re so proud of our curious learners for embracing history in such an exciting way!🌟

Watch WKRN News 2 today at 5:00 PM for a special shoutout! 💙🌀

Today, kindergarten #students at #CartwrightElementarySchool welcomed #WKRN Chief Meteorologist Danielle Breezy for a special visit to help launch their latest project-based learning experience. 🌤️🎙️

Students were presented with a driving question: “Weather shows are designed for adults. How can we help present the weather to everyone in a more kid-friendly way?”

With guidance and inspiration from the visit, students began brainstorming ideas and exploring how weather information can be shared in ways that are easy for children to understand. 🧠💡

From creative visuals to simple explanations, these young learners are designing kid-friendly weather presentations to share with others across the school community. ☁️🌈🌦️
