🎨⭐ Creativity Meets History at Summer Learning Camp! ⭐🎨

Angie Jackson from Arty All the Time recently visited students at #CascadeMiddleSchool's Summer Learning Camp and showed them how to use bold, vibrant, art deco inspired techniques to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary!

#Students channeled their creativity by designing artwork featuring the Statue of Liberty, stars, eagles, flags and the number 250, bringing patriotic symbols to life through color, design and imagination.

Through hands on creative exploration, students are building critical thinking skills while connecting art, history and self expression in meaningful ways. This learning reflects the opportunities public schools provide for students to explore ideas deeply, apply their learning and grow as confident learners.✨

⭐ Exploring the American Flag! ⭐

At #EakinElementarySchool's Summer Learning Camp, rising 2nd graders in Jenny Holden’s class took a closer look at the American flag, learning how it is designed, what the symbols represent and how it has changed over time.🔍💡

#Students then put their learning into action by creating their own flags, one made of paper and another creative version made with graham crackers and M&Ms!

This hands-on experience helped students connect history, symbolism and creativity in a fun and memorable way. ✨

🌈💧 Science in Action at Learning Way Elementary!💧🌈

At #LearningWayElementarySchool's Summer Learning Camp, Ms. Icard's rising 4th graders put their curiosity to the test this week during an exciting experiment called walking water! #Students made predictions about whether colored water would travel from cup to cup using only a paper towel.

As they observed the colorful transformation unfold, students discovered how liquids can move from one cup to another in surprising ways, sparking curiosity, critical thinking and lots of excitement!💡

We love seeing our young scientists explore, question and learn through engaging, hands-on experiences at Summer Learning Camp.🔬✨
