Reminder: Today’s emergency preparedness drill is just a drill, but we want families to know what to expect in a real emergency requiring school evacuation and parent/caregiver pickup.
✅ In the event of an actual emergency, to check in and pick up your child, you would need to go to the location shared at the time of the event (example map shown), and bring:
🔹 A valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, government-issued ID, etc.)
📍 If this were a real emergency, BCS would provide information regarding the reunification of parents and caregivers with their child. This information will be provided on the BCS website on a Breaking News webpage, on WLIJ 98.7 FM, on the Bedford County Schools TN app, and on BCS social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram and X.
