In partnership with Volunteer Behavioral Health, #BedfordCountySchools recently received a grant-funded donation of nine telehealth iPad carts and seven take-home iPads to support #student mental health.
This initiative helps remove barriers and connect more #students and families with critical mental health services because access to care should never stand in the way of success. 💙

During a recent Staff Development Day, educators at #CartwrightElementarySchool engaged in hands-on learning designed to strengthen instruction across content areas and deepen real-world connections for #students.
Led by guest #STEM coach Lichelle Leonard from Smyrna Elementary School, the session challenged teachers to think beyond traditional subject boundaries and design learning experiences that blend multiple disciplines through Project-Based Learning.

#CommunityHighSchool invites our community to join them for their annual Coaches vs. Cancer Scholarship Spaghetti Dinner, which is a night dedicated to honoring, remembering and supporting a cause that is near and dear to their hearts.
📍 Location: Community High School Cafeteria
🕟 Time: 4:30–6:30 PM
🎟️ Tickets: $10 at the door or purchased in advance from a student-athlete
All proceeds benefit the Coaches vs. Cancer Scholarship, and will be awarded to one or more qualifying Community High School seniors.

#CascadeElementarySchool and #CascadeHighSchool Interact Clubs recently teamed up for a heartwarming community service project. 🧦The elementary #students prepared goodie bags with cozy socks, word searches, hand lotion and other thoughtful treats.
The high school students delivered the bags to Celebration Way Assisted Living 🏡, spending time with residents playing card games, dominoes and working on puzzles.

We’re partnering with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive!
From January 20 – February 28, we’ll be collecting NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world. These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.
We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.
📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.
